Located at Queens Wharf Reserve on the Parramatta River, the Firesticks Memorial by Jason Wing features eight Dharug nawi (canoes) reimagined as .303 calibre bullets, each holding sculptural firesticks. The work honours First Nations servicepeople and those lost in the Frontier Wars. At night, it is illuminated with striking red light along the foreshore.
