Located on the Bay Run, The Serpent was created by Jason Wing, an artist of Aboriginal and Asian heritage with strong ties to the local community. Inspired by the Rainbow Serpent of Aboriginal culture, the artwork reflects the belief that the serpent, or eel, created the waterways and brought life through water.
