Located just steps from the Parramatta River, this 7.5-metre-tall sculpture by Kamilaroi artist Reko Rennie features two intertwined eels. It honours the Dharug word Barramada, which translates to ‘where eels lie down’ to breed in the river. The sculpture features blue, glowing sequenced lighting at night.
