Yilabara Path, meaning “quick way through” in Dharug, connects Parramatta’s CBD to the Parramatta River. Named in consultation with Dharug Elders and First Nations community members, the path recognises ongoing connection to Country. Upgraded in 2024, it features public art, cultural naming, and improved amenities. A highlight is ‘Passing Through Light’, a glow-in-the-dark mural symbolising moonlight guiding travellers through Dharug Ngurra (Country).
