The PRCG is once again partnering with University of NSW and Inner West Council on a project exploring sites undergoing change across Sydney, including urban river swimming locations.
As part of the UNSW Landscape Architecture Program, first-year students will develop concept designs for the proposed Mort Bay swim site at Birchgrove. Working to a real-world brief, students will consider landscape character, cultural and environmental values, accessibility, and community needs.
The project gives students valuable hands-on design experience while providing stakeholders with fresh ideas and perspectives for sites undergoing transformation.
