Cabarita beach

The beach at Cabarita Park is located at the park's northern end and is backed by parklands with picnic and barbeque facilities and a playground. A sharkproof net was constructed in the 1920s but no longer exists today. In the 1930s, they began construction of an in-ground pool just south of Cabarita Point, and is now the home to the Cabarita Pool, which is fed by treated river water.
